Balloon Décor In
A Socially Distant World
Finding creative ways to adapt my passion for Balloon Twisting during these changing times
Balloon Twisting during these changing times

My favorite thing about balloons is how they can immediately brighten up someone’s day; that’s the whole reason I became a balloon artist. I loved being a part of other’s celebrations and watching my art form spread smiles like wildfire. But….my ability to twist at milestone events like weddings, birthdays and family gatherings recently came to screeching halt with all the social distancing laws put into place. I was devastated by this and wasn’t sure how to move forward as an entertainer and artist.

I woke up one morning and knew I needed to create something, anything to change my mood. I painted a sign that read, “Spread Joy” and built some adorable balloon palm trees to put in the front yard of our home. My neighbor’s children watched from their window as I put the finishing touches on my balloon sculptures. Even though a busy street separated us I could still see the joy on their faces. That’s when I knew I could continue to create happiness with my balloons, and I’ve been creating outdoor Balloon Yard Art ever since.

I put out a new installation each week with a different theme and different colors. I’ve received a beautiful card from a passerby explaining that my balloons lifted their spirits that day. We’ve had neighbors whom we’ve never had the pleasure of meeting, shout hello and share their appreciation. I’ve even been able to help out some friends and family make someone’s day extra special with ‘no contact’ balloon art in their yards! It warms my heart to know that these tiny round colorful orbs can have such an impact in a dark time!
Hi...I’m Stacy
I love creating super cute balloon animals and balloon decor. I’ve worked with children my whole life; starting as a gymnastics coach, then a mental health counselor for families and finally finding my passion as an entertainer.

Making the jump from mental health to balloon art may seem odd, but for me it just made sense. I enjoy helping people find moments of happiness. Balloons are often linked to celebrations and memory making moments and those are things we can all cherish. Plain and simple balloons make people smile and smiling make us feel good! My goal is to use my art form to help spread happiness!
